- Can you laser cut acrylic?
- Yes — acrylic is the best material we run on the laser. Laser cutting gives fine detail and a flame-polished edge straight off the bed; for thicker stock and complex profiles we CNC rout instead. Acrylic from 8 mm up is reviewed before we quote.
- What thickness of acrylic can you cut?
- 1.5–12 mm. Australian acrylic steps in standard sheets — 3, 4.5 and 6 mm are the common signage thicknesses, with thicker stock to 12 mm for architectural work. There's no 5 mm in the AU market; if your file calls for it we'll confirm 4.5 or 6 mm with you before cutting.
- What acrylic colours and finishes do you cut?
- Clear, white, black, coloured, opal, frosted and mirror. Tell us the colour and finish in your quote request and we’ll match the right stock to the job.
