Cut-to-Size

No design file needed. Cut-to-size is the simplest job we do — you send dimensions, quantity and material; we cut from sheet and you collect rectangles ready to use.

What this is

Plenty of jobs don't need a design file. You need rectangles cut to a set dimension, in a set material, in a set quantity. Cut-to-size is exactly that — straight panels cut from stock sheet to your requested size, delivered or ready for pickup.

This is the fastest path through CutPro. No file prep, no design work, no shape complexity. Send a quote request listing what you need: material (acrylic, ACM, MDF, plywood, polycarbonate, foam PVC, others by request), thickness, dimensions in millimetres, quantity, and any finishing notes. We confirm material yield and turnaround and you're booked.

The customers most often using this path are: builders cutting panels to fit a recess, signwriters cutting backers in bulk, shop-fitters cutting infill pieces, fabricators cutting splash-backs, marina customers cutting pieces to a known dimension, and trade customers stocking up. Walk-in retail customers come in for one or two pieces — that's fine too.

If your material isn't on the standard list, ask. We cut most rigid sheet goods. Speciality materials (chemical-resistant plastics, food-grade laminates, unusual composites) move to a review-required path so we can confirm cutting suitability before committing.

Tolerance on cut-to-size is the standard machine tolerance — see the spec block below for confirmed numbers. For tight-tolerance fitment, flag it on your enquiry and we'll cut to a finer cleanup pass.

I don't have a design file. Can I still quote?
Yes — that's exactly what cut-to-size is for. Send dimensions, quantity and material in the quote request and we'll work from that. No file required.
How tight can you cut to size?
Standard machine tolerance is fine for most fitment work. For tight-tolerance fits (slot-in panels, joinery infills), flag it on the enquiry and we'll cut to a finer cleanup pass — adds a small amount to the quote.
Do I need to source the material?
No — we supply the material. Send dimensions, quantity and the grade you need and we'll source, price and cut it as one job. Specialty or non-stock grades are quoted by review.
Do I need exact dimensions before quoting?
Best guess is fine. Even an approximate width × height in millimetres gets you in the ballpark, and we'll confirm material yield on the quote. If you supply files, we measure from those.
How quick is a quote?
Most quote requests come back within 1 business day, Mon-Fri. Simple trade jobs are usually faster during business hours. Complex jobs, supplied-material jobs or anything unusual may take longer — we'll tell you up front if so.
Can I pick up or do you deliver?
Both. Pickup is from Helensvale by appointment — we'll send the address when your job is ready. Local delivery covers the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Logan and Tweed Heads, quoted per job. Freight elsewhere in Australia on request.
