01 — Add-ons
Finishing and fabrication add-ons.
Add-ons we run alongside CNC routing and laser cutting. All quoted with the job — no separate trip back to the workshop. One job, one quote, one pickup.

Common questions
Finishing & add-on FAQ.
- Do you charge separately for add-ons or quote them with the cut?
- Both — but always together. Every add-on is priced alongside the cut on the same quote, so you see one job total before approving. No surprise itemisation, no separate trip back to the workshop.
- How quickly do I get a quote with add-ons included?
- Quote back, usually within 1 business day. Simple trade jobs are usually faster during business hours (Mon–Fri · 8am–4pm AEST). Complex finishing scopes may take a touch longer — we'll tell you up-front if so.
- Is there a minimum order for add-on work?
- The standard CutPro minimum applies — A$132 inc GST per project, covering cut + add-ons combined. Add-ons can't be ordered on their own without a cut.
- What file formats work for jobs with add-ons?
- DXF is the cleanest. AI, SVG, PDF, EPS, and DWG all work. For tapped or countersunk holes, put each operation on its own layer (DRILL-5MM, TAP-M5, CSK-M5-90) so we know what gets which tool.
- Can I pick up finished parts the same day they come off the machine?
- Pickup is from Helensvale by appointment within your booked window. We confirm a ready-time when the job is booked, and let you know if anything slips.
